This can occasionally happen if the serum is rubbed for too long or layered over products that haven't fully absorbed. Because the SPF is designed to form an even protective layer on the skin, continuing to massage it as it begins to set can cause the product to roll up, sometimes called “pilling.” Apply an even layer, gently blend it in, and then allow it to set. If you're layering skincare, give each product a moment to absorb before applying the next.

Don’t worry, your pump isn’t broken. Our bottles use an airless dispensing system rather than a traditional tube that extends to the bottom of the bottle. When you open a new bottle, the pump sometimes needs to be “primed” by creating the vacuum that brings the serum up to the dispenser.

Once the pump is primed, it should dispense normally with each use.

We first tried coconut and avocado oil, which would have been our preference too, but they significantly changed the flavor. We consulted a focus group that prefers to avoid seed oils without strictly eliminating them. Because only a minuscule amount is used (it's the second-to-last ingredient), they felt the benefits outweighed the concern, and it wouldn't deter them from using the gummies.
